iPhone crashing since update 1.0.2

My iPhone was FLAWLESS prior to update #2.

I haven't modded a single thing.

After update 1.0.2, when I get an incoming call while I'm on a call -- I lose both calls and the phone freezes up. I have to reboot the entire phone to get it working again.

It's not horrible, but if I'm doing businesss and lose 2 customers while I'm on the phone -- ooh, that hurts.

Anyone else experiencing this? if so, is it caused by version 2 and what can I do about it?

Thanks.

same here since update 1 when I call it just ends by itself and I have to redial. also when I receive a call it ends and they have to call again..its getting somewhat annoying..doesn't happen always though.

My phone has done strange things over the last couple of months... twice now I've had an incoming call that no matter what I did I couldn't answer it. The touch screen was totally unresponsive. After a reboot everything goes back to being normal.

mine has done this as well as sometimes when i hit the home button while my phone is locked, it brightens the screen but stays black. i have to hit it again for the actually "unlock" screen appears. It happened before the update.

I think all of these issue have been reported before any updates came out.

And this last update was so minor, and changed so very little, that it's unlikely the reason for any new crashes.

I have not noticed any difference in performance between two iPhones. One is heavily used, the other moderately. My speaker phone doesn't sound louder, my battery life isn't lasting longer etc etc.

If anything, I would go as far as saying this update primarily addressed security flaws. The type security companies find and warn the source for a fee, before issuing a press release to get them to bite.

Remember what happened the last time a potential security flaw was found? I think I saw it reported in every form of media, that's how much scrutiny this phone is under. This time around the fire was put out before it even started, thus saving Apple a media spin headache. Do they really want to be the iPhone to be the "Windows XP" of security breaches? I think not.

For the record, I am writing this on my PC. It's fort knox up in here so I'm safe, for now... They mostly come out at night... mostly...

I have not had any problems with my phone since the update. As a matter of fact, the problems that I had before the update appear to be resolved. (using safari and iPod at same time causing crash)

iPhone freezes after Update

I have had this problem of iPhone interface freezing when trying to answer the calls..Happened twice..
This happened immediately the day after the update(never before).Another thing is I called ATT to increase the number of rings before going to voicemail..so the default is 20 seconds .I upped mine to 30 seconds..approximately 6 rings(the rings can be heard by the caller..if you have custome ringtones)...So not sure if that is related.
haven't had this problem since then and everything else works the same as before

My iPhone worked great from day 1, but recently am having this random crashing too.

Has anyone found a solution yet?
