As of right now i have had my iPhone for almost a week and i could't be any happier. I only have a few complaints. And maybe some of you guys could put my mind at ease...Do you think Apple will release a ringtone app for custom ringtones throught iTunes soon? The ringtones they give you arent bad they just arent loud enough for me. Also do you think a software update can make the speakers any louder, along with having maybe differnt longer vibrations? My old razr was 10x louder then the iPhone. I also wish i could change my notifactions to differnet louder and longer ones. And do you think its possible that a software update will allow you to text in landscape mode instead of portrait? This would make texting so much more enjoyable.

Once again:

Custom Ringtones?
Software update to make speakers louder?
Software update to allow you to text in landscape mode?
New notifications?
Differnt Vibration patterns like many other phones?

Thanks in advance for any answers you might offer. :laugh2:

Java and flash are multimedia authoring plugins that can be installed into your browser.

Basically, they let you access content on websites. Many video and music players are flash or java based.

Having flash and java support on the iPhone opens up a wide range of new things that can be done with the phone.

do u got a link to prove that?
Yup, it was from an interview with someone from Apple. Give me a few minutes and I'll dig up the link.

--edit--

Here's the link and the quote from the article:

http://mailbox.allthingsd.com/20070705/questions-about-Apples-iphone/

If the iPhone’s Web browser is so good, why can’t it play video on Web sites I visit?

At launch, the iPhone version of the Safari browser is missing some plug-ins needed for playing common types of Web videos. The most important of these is the plug-in for Adobe’s Flash technology. Apple says it plans to add that plug-in through an early software update, which I am guessing will occur within the next couple of months. However, a separate program included on the iPhone can play a limited selection of videos from YouTube, and the phone can play videos you purchase from Apple’s iTunes store, and certain videos you create yourself.
