iPhone got almost as many looks as the new bride!

Went to a co-worker's daughter's wedding yesterday. After the reception dinner, I pulled out my iPhone to snap a few pics of my other co-workers that attended. The iPhone immediately drew a crowd. One lady asked if it was a camera or an ipod; I just replied that it was both and then she figured it out. "Oh! That must be the new iPhone." Of course everyone had to ask how long I waited in line and they wanted to see all the cool features and some even used it to snap a few pics of the group that would include me. The professional photographer even had to come over and check it out and ask a few questions about it.

ahh yes yes you are right lol.. I try my best to keep it on the downlow lol I didn't get mine on iDay but got it few days later local Apple store still had enough on that first Monday but everyone asks if I waited on line and asks millions questions

I get a little embarrassed when I tell people that I waited in line for 11 hours on iDay.

yeah don't you feel bad telling them no you cant hold it if we didn't have one we would want to see one but then again $600 ... and its i mean common iPhone shouldnt let anyone touch that!

I feel the same way. I too went to a gathering yesterday, now don't fuss at me. It was a birthday party for a 2 year old. When I arrived, and one person knew I had the phone, everyone said, lets see your toy you brought. The kids were in the backyard so I whipped mine out. All the adults ended up inside playing with my toy. I was nervous but I did know all the adults. My brother-in-law is the one whom I let play the most with. He is a fellow Apple fan, we get along better than we do with our spouses. Anyhow, I think 3 of them went to buy one today. I looked up and all the kids were standing at the back door wanting to know, "when can we open gifts and sign Happy Birthday"

i was talking on the phone for an hour at work, and this one guy came up to me and ask me " OH MY GOD, is that the new iPhone, how do you like it"
and i was like" sorry man, but i really have to talk to a rep" so he backed off and went away
but i felt bad for him though, wish i coulve helped him with some of his questions

So my boss calls me up at 9.25 Friday Nite and says..
"Get me an 8gig iPhone...right now!"--Click.

I'm 40 mins away from the nearest open Apple store-
I get there and they are closed-I do my best begging and pleading with security-a manager comes to the door more begging & pleading-I get the iPhone race over to the private party and slip it to the boss-just in-time.

When I pull out my iPhone the party-i swear i lost sight of it for 3 whole mins-I was in full panic mode.

Grabbed my iPhone and was gone.

yeah. Me too. I try to keep a low profile when i'm out in public. Don't wanna let anyone hold my iPhone and i just dun like turning people down too. At home, i'm trying to keep it away from my 18 mth old son. Seems like he took a liking to my iPhone too.
