Did anyone see if Apple posted anything on their site about the iPhone headset? If so, can you please share the URL?

Thanks!

Zip, other than BT 2.0 - a blessing for us frustrated Treo users.
I must assume it's not ready for market, otherwise the Apple Store would be taking orders, even future ones. It's so sleek, it may do OK even from non iPhone users. In fact, some might want it just to look like they have an iPhone (witness the abundance of white, apple-like earbuds out there).

Ill agree with you, K. And, valid point on the white earbuds. I never noticed that people are doing it imitate us, more intelligent Apple users :D

I think they're touting iPhone compatibility because the headset is Bluetooth 2.0 compliant, like the iPhone. I doubt they've tested them together. Possible, but I doubt it.
No, I definitely don't think it has been tested, but they may have more than just BT 2.0 similarities to claim they are compatible. Or, like you said, it just may be that simplistic.

This would be ideal! :)

Either that or a pullaway like those yo-yo's. You pull the other one to the other ear from the main device. The line would go behind your head (under long hair) And when you take it off the line would go in the main set like a cord on a vacuum cleaner.
