iPhone info please

Ok. A few things i need to find out before i buy the iPhone.
1. Is the internet like wifi? or do i have to buy the internet on my phone with a specail plan
2. How much are the iPhones
3. I have verison, would i be able to get a iPhone with a plan from them? or would i have to go to AT&T
4. And so far, out of the people that have them, How are they. Do they really stack up to the expectations?

1. Transfering data on the iPhone is slow, very slow. The iPhone can connect to wifi which speeds up web browsing significantly.

2. 499 for 4gig. 599 for 8gig.

3. You have to go with AT&T (2 year contract)

4. I love my iPhone. I switched over from a blackberry and I am enjoying it a lot so far. The only thing I don't like is the email software. The email software isn't entirely bad, but it could use some improvement.
