Not sure why not to use iTunes? You can select all the songs of one album, right click, select get Info, click yes, then PASTE the album art of your choice into the album art section and all the songs have the same art. Not sure if iTunes is adding the art to every song but it seems to work with each song for a period of time. iTunes was easy to work with to correct/change album art of messed up files. My wife has CDs from India which had no information AND iTunes had no idea where to get the album art. Used internet to save selected image then paste it into iTunes.
Yes, I am aware of this option. But in my experience it doesn't in any way embed the album art with the file/folder.
This poses a problem because:
A. If you ever have to reinstall iTunes, readd your music, or anything similar you have to do the whole process over again. ><
B. I use multiple computers, 5 including my work computer. I don't want to go through each of my iTunes libraries manually doing this each time. I have over 800 albums in all. It is monotonous enough to just do it once. ><
I mentioned in the original post that I wanted to avoid doing it this way for these reasons. I am looking for a fix all solution.
I've found a couple programs that may do the trick. I knew there was a way you could embed the information into the files/folders. iTunes will extract the images from the file/folder if it's embedded.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
