iPhone & Nokia E62

I currently have a Nokia E62 and will be purchasing the iPhone on Friday. My question is what is my best option to transfer my contacts from my E62 to the iPhone? I use the Nokia PC Suite now. I hear the iPhone will have another SIM card besides the one I use in my E62 correct? All I am trying to do is to save time be re-typing contacts.

Please give your thoughts if any!

i have a e62 as well, pos. anyways i am just going to copy and paste all my contacts from my nokia suite to my new yahoo contacts account. then iPhone will sync the contacts from there..

Can't you synch your E62 with Microsoft Outlook?
Then once you will get the iPhone , you will be able to synch it with Outlook also.

My problem is I use Bellsouth.net as my email. Should I switch over to yahoo to be compatible with the iPhone as push email and be able to sync easier?

iPhone will support BellSouth. Either look on the BellSouth webpage or in your account settings in Outlook. You need to know if they are using IMAP or POP, the server name(s) and if they are using any special ports. Once you have that information you will be able to enter them into iPhone.

Will it be push email like Yahoo account meaning instant delivery and receiving of emails if I can found out the info?

By the way, Do you happen to know this info from Bellsouth?

I don't use BellSouth so I don't know what their settings are check their support webpages, I am sure it is listed there. iPhone supports IMAP and POP which basically means every email provider on the planet (Except Blackberry Enterprise Server, but that still requires Exchange so you are still set there to.)

The only free and public support for 'Push' is via Yahoo that I know of. But seriously just set your IMAP to poll every 10 minutes or so, just about the same thing.

imo, for the average user, push e-mail is overkill. Do you really want to be bugged every 5 minutes when you get a spam message?
