so the iPhone has been out for over a week, i am just wondering how it has been holding up, if you are not using a case and just throwing it in your pocket can you answer these questions please.

is the screen getting scratched up?
is any part of the phone getting scratched up?
is lint or dust getting under the screen?

and for anyone are you still have "fun" with the iPhone, like was it still worth the money?

and then for the people that have a case for it,

leather case people - any lint or dust under the screen or any scratches?

skin case people - any scratches on the screen or anywhere on the phone?

alright thanks for the help.

My screen doesn't get scratched, I have a protector on it.

My phone doesn't get scratched, I have a case on it too.

It is highly unlikely that lint or dust will get under the glass protecting the screen. The phone is very well sealed.

The case for the phone doesn't protect the screen, you have to get a separate stick-on screen protector to do that.

I have a skin case on my phone, and I have no scratches on my phone anywhere.

Yes, you will need one even if it is in a leather case. A case only protects the body of the phone, not the screen.

I have never had any problems with applying my screen protectors. If you clean the screen before hand and apply it correctly then you will not have any bubbles or lint in between the screen and the protector.

I used my iPhone naked up until this Saturday when I got a rubber InCase case for it. Only a few small slight scratches on the silver ring, nothing anywhere else. I like this case a lot, it provides nice grip and when the phone gets a little warm from use, the rubber actually shields it, so I don't notice that part at all. Great phone so far, even more pleased today than I was when I got it.

I got mine on the first day. I am using a leather case from the AT & T store. It works great. I returned the plastic one. No scratches.

Great phone. Everything is working WiFi, e-mail, sync to Outlook, etc.

I love having the voice mail on the phone. It would be great to just transfer Excel and Word documents to iPhone. I just e-mail the docs to the yahoo e-mail-I did not link the corporate server or personal e-mail to the iPhone.

The only negative is poor AT & T coverage at my home. Near the beach in Southern Cal. I was told they can not put towers on the ocean. However, my Verizon phone works well.

I have gotten a small white speck under my glass right near the top of the screen. I believe that the ear hole is open to the rest of the screen. That black material seems to be next to the screen as well?
