yeah the idea of fm radio is moot if streaming media is possible...

Please please please Apple make this a reality! This would be a dream come true for me... *crosses fingers*

Looking at the link above I never realized this was possible me on some of the other smartphones... If there isn't an iPhone solution for this I have to say i'll be a bit disappointed.

If the iPhone had a built in radio I would spend half the day listening to the radio as opposed to buying songs on iTunes......apple knows that....that is why there will never be a built in radio,Sirius, or xm. I wish that this wasn't the case though but it is.

Seems like they could put one of the desktop radio widgets on the phone--I live by the Rabbit Radio (Public Radio) widget on my laptop and desktop...great programs from all over the country.

BBC Radio Mobile is easily streamed with the iPhone. It has a whole list of all bbc radio channels, including sports, and news. All the bbc radio channels can be easily streamed over any internet connection, wifi, through pc or mobile/pda. Follow the link http://www.bbcradio.mobi
