iPhone Ringtones

I've been for looking for some information on getting custom ringtones for the iPhone for the last week. It appears that the feature does not exist as best as I can tell. Does anybody have any insider information on this? Will custom ringtones or ringtones from iTunes music become available, or is this a feature that the iPhone won't support? If this is coming, any word on when?

Lastly, if this question has been asked and answered 100 times already, please feel free to ponit me that way.

Rumor is that Apple will offer this through iTunes as soon as they find out a way to charge you for it. No custom ringtones as of right now though.

That's BS but Im not shocked. Being how much we paid for the phone, paying for ring tones is so comcast. Give some time, someone will hack and make it drive mount so you can see the ringtone dir and just put your on in.

haven't had to pay for ringtones since my Nokia 8260

it sucks because in my last phone(SLVR) i have a program which i used to make my own ring tones from my mp3s and now i cant.
