not that it helps you now...

If you do end up getting another iPhone you can insure it with State Farm with a Personal Articles Policy for less then $50 for the year with a $0 deductible... they will replace your phone for free if it is lost, stolen, accident breakage, mysterious disappearance, fire, flood. My agent here in NY is @ 845-623-2100 (Matthew Roth)

Sorry for your loss man! This is terrible.

By any chance, did you buy it using American Express? They have a 90 day loss and theft protection. Other cards might have it too so it's worth looking into.

I wrote yesterday in another thread about the importance of using a locking password. It is so important and this situation is exactly why, and I speak from experience as I has a smartphone stolen before. It makes you feel very voilated.

:(:(:(:(

I can't believe that. MAN---I am so paranoid already. Constantly checking my case and my belt.

Now I'll do it almost to the point of being OCD!

Sorry man, I hate to hear that. Did someone at your work steal it? What a jerk!

That blows I know how it is to have stuff stolen.
I had two ipod mini's stolen a green and a silver one. So I feel your pain sorta.
I hope AT&T doesn't make you have to pay a cancellation fee or anything.

Sorry to hear that

Just make sure that you did report the phone lost/stolen to AT&T, that way it can never be used again ( They flag the Serial number of the iPhone )unless you report it found.

If purchased with a credit card and in within the last 30 days, most card companies will cover it.

Your home owner's insurance will probably cover it. You will pay a higher premium though. Maybe wait a few days, the person who stole it may find Jesus/and or that it's worthless once turned off and return it. Try offering a reward, no questions asked...Sorry to hear about your situation. M

So today, I had gotten my iPhone stolen. I don't really know what to do. My friends said to cancel the phone by calling ATT. But the probelm is, Is there any way to get my phone, or locate who has it? Can I track it down? Can I track it down if there is no SIM? Or do I just cancel my phone and forget it?

Report it stolen to the police, and ATT. Then check to see if your credit card has buyers insurance.
