iphone- The good, bad, and the ugly

iPhone volume- Worst i've had on any phone in my life
iPhone IPOD capabilities (I love cover flow)- The best!
iPhone camera- No flash, and I cant keep my hand steady enough (I know becoming a surgeon isn't in my future)
Texting (keyboard)- the best phone I've ever had, and I love the threads
iPhone pictures- I love how I can manipulate them, and send then at a drop of a dime
Widgest(You Tube...etc) I love the possibilites of future widgets..It actually excites me. I play with Google maps all the time!
The actual phone- I have no problems with making calls, the extra taps don't bother me, and it is way easier to use than my 700wx. I actually never learned how to use 3-way on the damn thing. I love the iPhone for its ease of use.
EDGE- It's not as good at the EVDO network, but it's ok, and using WIFI is more than enough.
Safari- Do I really have to say anything?
No cut & paste, cannot text to more than 1 person at a time, no flash or video, cannot open large PDF files, no GPS, or Chat, no ring tones, cannot delete multiple emails at a time, always forget to bring my handy wipe to clean the phone, and the occasional crashes

YES THERE ARE GOOD AND BAD THINGS ABOUT THE PHONE, AND MOST OF IT CAN BE FIXED. BUT, IN THE END, I REALLY LIKE MY iPhone, AND WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANY PHONE OUT THERE. IM SELLING MY TREO 700WX FOR A 100 BUCKS ON SATURDAY.

AND PLEASE SLINGMEDIA AND APPLE, PLEASE COME TO SOME SORT OF AN AGREEMENT. I WOULD FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS CONTRAPTION IF THEY DID. THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN--SOON!

I would love Slingbox to work on the iPhone, but I just don't see it happening. If Apple opened up support for "true" 3rd party apps, than of course Sling would develop an app. The problem lies with Edge. I don't think it has the capability to rock Slingbox.

I was thinking the same thing, but how come people who had treo's with cingular could use the slingbox? is treo on a different network?

Imagine if they made a slingbox widget--man that would be tight! I guess only in my dreams...

I don't believe they list the Treo 680 (EDGE) as a supported device. The Treo 700p/755p use EVDO. My best experience with SlingBox was the Moto Q using EVDO. It absolutely rocked. Destroyed my battery pretty quickly. Watching TiVo while my wife shopped. Priceless.:p

Even if they had it, but could only use it while in a wifi area I would be happy.
