Im not sure. I don't think it has IR port so im thinking no. Unless somehow its done over wifi which is pretty impossible for a tv. I could be completely wrong Im just speaking from my accounts with my psp. It could control my SLIM ps2.

If you can afford an iPhone and need a universal remote control, buy a Harmony 880. They are INCREDIBLE :)
It's a little ironic that universal remotes that use touchscreens only, are widely considered as inferior (and cost less) than the ones with lots of buttons. Because who wants to have to look at the screen each time to surf channels or change the volume!

As for iPhone as remote, no they left out the IR, which is just crazy since 1) the EDGE chip supports it as a peripheral, and 2) I used to love using my PDAs as remotes at times. Especially when you're out at a bar with a TV

I couldn't agree more. I wouldn't want to use my iPhone as a remote for exactly that reason. I had a semi-touch-screen All In One remote and couldn't stand having to look at it every time I wanted to do something. That's just one of many reasons I love the Harmony so much.

BTW, they are relatively inexpensive on Amazon.
