iPhone vs iPod touch

I really like how the media section on the ipod touch is displayed... with direct access to music / video / photos/ all along the bottom row. I find using the iPhone and having to access the ipod menu it requires several taps to get to the area I want.
I hope the iPhone can adapt and get a similar menu...
I know I probably can hack the phone to do this but that's more trouble than I want to deal with...

Anybody else like the iPod touch menu better?

They put that on the dock because they didn't have mail or the phone icon to take up the space. I without a doubt use the phone feature a lot more than the video one.

I'd like my bottom row for the iPhone to be :phone, Music, Video, Safari.

I tought I would use the mail app more but I haven't.
