iPhone with wpa secutity

I have a new wireless router and husband has put wpa secutity on it. I know the password but it does not allow me to see it. Any suggestions.

The router is not broadcasting its name. This is another security feature.
Go the wi-fi list and tap 'other' and type in the router name and the password.

do you mean "cannot see password" or "cannot see router"?
