I'd be surprised if they didn't announce an iPod Touch as well. They release them every fall and I think getting the iPhone and iPod on schedule for a simultaneous release is one of the reasons the iPhone was delayed by a few months this year.

The next iPod Touch will probably have an A5 on board as well. These devices are doing really well in the gaming world, so it would make perfect sense to upgrade the hardware.

Yeah, they need to release another one for the holiday season.
