There is probably a simple solution (hopefully) but sometimes while listening to the ipod it just stops and closes? Does this have something to do with wi-fi or edge? Anyone else having this problem? Samething has started happening to safari, I can't open a page for more than 1 minute without it closing, maps as well.

Thanks!

That sounds like that should be the problem...fyi I have free space
2.49 GB worth of free space
Give it a try and let me know. When you turn it back on your should see the white Apple logo. That'll tell you that you completely shut it down and back on again.

Good luck!

It worked! I turned it off and back on about 20 -30 minutes ago and been surfing ever since with no crashes. I knew there was a simple solution, funny how if you just ask about a problem before you start bashing things just seem to work out.

Glad that worked out for you. The same thing happened to me the night I got my iPhone activated. I powered it off once and on again and it hasn't happened once since. Of course now I power it completely down at night.

Glad I could help. :)
