iPod touch back cover compared to iPhone's

so i was lookin at the video on Apple.com for the iPod touch and it appears as though the back cover is chrome or at least a very shiny silver. I wish my iPhone was that color. but i like having the chrome around the front screen which the iPod touch lacks. Anybody with an iPhone gonna get one? bein that you already have an iPhone? i want one just to try it out. but i'm betting that i should wait and see if the next gen iPhone comes out with a bit more mem. Like at least 40 gb please!

The reason the Touch doesn't have 40GB of storage is because it's harddriveless. That means much lower power draw and a significant increase in battery life. My iPhone seems to run forever whereas my iPod 5G dies with two hours of video use.

I'll take the 16GB Touch over a 80GB hard drive unit ANY DAY.

Personally I don't like that surface. I was very glad the iPhone didn't have it. It gets scratched and smudged very easily and is very noticeable. Also the black section where the Wi-Fi antenna isn't all that attractive. But other than that, nice design.
