"In regards to 3G support versus Edge, in the US (and I know you don't really care about the US) Edge availability is more widespread, so even though 3G is available, I believe that Edge was a smart choice. As there would have been a ton of whineing from people that weren't in 3G locations about the inability to use the best features of the phone. Now the UK as you present is a different market. It's entirely possible that Apple could release the product with 3G versus Edge. That would make it better for your market."
