Is this real? $30?

In looking at Apple's website, they have an adapter that converts the existing 30 pin dock connector to a lightning connector. The Apple Store has this listed for $30. Are they for real?

Marianne said there is a mention on Apple's site that it does not support iPod out. We're thinking it might support music playback on speaker docks, car audio -- maybe. It's too early to tell, but that's what it sounds like..

The Lightning cables are only $19. I just ordered three of them to replace most of my old cables. I wish they had an adapter to make the Lightning cables work with the iPads so we could just get rid of all of our old cables.

I'd like to get one of those. The small Jambox looks real nice. They had them at Costco a few weeks back. I've been swamped with moving bills, so stayed far away.

you have no clue what moving did for us and now the Army made a mistake and just decided instead of fix it not to pay us at all!

Sorry to hear that. That's terrible. I don't wish moving on anyone. Even when it goes well (which thanks to a good moving company, ours did), it's still such a horrible experience.

Just hold out as long as you can. Pretty soon these will be on EBay and Amazon hopefully way cheaper than 30.00 for a 5.00 piece of plastic.
