I downloaded it no problem but now iTunes won't recognize my iPhone 4 when I plug it in .. Any suggestions ? Thanks .

No it is stock .. A message pops up saying it can't install driver . ? Thought it might be some windows updates . Updated them but it still won't come up .

Did you download it as an update inside iTunes or did you download it with iTunes closed directly from Apple on their website? Sometimes it makes a difference specially on Windows 7 with their 64 or 32 systems.

Agree'd. If it helps I used the Apple website. However my wife updated through iTunes and everything worked fine. We both have 3gs's though.

I tried to do it from my Mac software updates and it crashed after downloading and trying to install. I'm going to do it manually now and let you know.

Did you shut down your computer after installing?

Yes . Did the exact process it asked me to . Did the shut down and it all . The program seems fine , just doesn't recognize that there is a phone plugged in . Doesn't give any indication at all .

I'm having the same exact issue. Only difference is that I am jailbroken, and have 4.3.3. I updated to 10.5 by checking for updates within iTunes, then tried downloading straight from Apple. still not working.

ive tried both and it just says theres a problem with my windows package?

Yep, same thing happening here. I updated to 10.5 and now iTunes doesn't see my phone.
