iTunes album art?

I've got most of my album art already located in the mp3's I have. But when in iTunes the art won't show up.

And when I've went to CDNOW.COM and tried to drag and drop iTunes won't accept the art.

I've got it. I wasn't able to drag the smaller images but once I selected the larger images I was then able to drag and drop.

Why won't iTunes find these for me when I select "get art work" from the menu? I'd like to be able to have something do it automatically for me.

There is probably a much easier way but I found an image of the album on the web, saved the picture (eg jpeg) and then draged it into iTunes

Does anyone know if Windows Media Player 11 recognizes the album art that's located in iTunes?

Because I've got quite a bit of album art already but iTunes didn't recognize it.

I'd like them to both recognize each others album art.

I've manually downloaded most of my album art work from amazon.com, ect. They are mostly .jpgs images in the album folder. What is the easiest way to add these to iTunes?
