Hi,

Can anyone help me with iTunes lyrics?
My query: What is the easiest way to add lyrics to my iTunes library? I want to add lyrics to all the songs in library. But I don't want to do it manually as it will take years to complete that.
Is there some plugin or some other standalone application that could help me?

I use Life2Go, it's so quick and has lyrics for almost every song. i don't know if it exists for PC though, do you have a mac?

OK, so I'm 3 months late to the thread...
Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes is a terrific library of scripts that do all sorts of things. I use one to collect all tunes without cover art into a new playlist. Search for 'lyrics' and you'll find something helpful.

Go to your Widgets!

I am assuming of course you are on a mac since you are using iTunes and this might not be the case. If you are, go to your Dashboard and click on "other widgets" and look for the iTunes Lyric widget. Make sure to get your new lava lamp and your ability to text message five messages a day for free on your way. The iTunes Lyric widget is great. Small on the desktop and with the name of the song typed in - the lyrics just magically appear. Makes you embarrassed to see you have been singing all your favorites wrong all this time! If you are using a PC, go buy a mac and do the above.

That's a good point. Doug's site does have some script-oid stuff for Windows users. If the OP is one, may want to check it out.

i know

i cannot understand why more people do not buy a mac, i've had mine for a year and will never go back to pc's.
in the past week i've been on my mums and my father in laws pc's and i can;t wait to get back to my mac.
i spent 2 hours on each pc trying to get rid of spyware!
it drives me crazy!
for a couple of hundred £ more or $ for all in the usa you can get a mac!
hopefully when the iPhone comes out more of the pc users will think about buying one!

I use iArt. It automatically adds lyrics to your tunes. And Album art also, but not on the same pass, you have to run it at separate times. It isn't free however, but you can get it "free" wink wink but I don't recommend such activities. Oh no.

Yes, I agree! I love to listen to music in other langauges as a way to learn. Listening to music while reading the lyrics is an off the charts (pun intended) way to learn a new langauge. Bet you never thought of that one, Steve, when you guys put out the iPod. I continue to be amazed and the social impact of the iPod. Here's looking forward to the iPhone having an even bigger impact.
