Unfortunately there aren't any tweaks available to the general public at present for the 5s and it's 64-bit architecture. Mobilesubstrate still isn't working either, so I doubt we'll see anything until it's updated for all devices. I appreciate there is a demand for 5s owners, but look on the bright side at least we have a jailbreak.

It is kinda frustrating, it's like being given a new toy when you're a child. You've been waiting for the toy for what seems like a lifetime, then it comes... and you have no batteries for it.I installed iFile, but I can't register it, so the trial is probably almost over.
Have you checked for updates via Cydia to make sure all is updated, such as Cydia Substrate? I am reading that Barrel works for the 5s.
You shouldn't have a problem installing Barrel or anything compatible with iOS 7. Are you installing the paid version, I hope? If so, try closing Cydia fully and then try installing again.
