Do you really thing the lines are going to be that long, for you to be on line for almost 24hrs.?This is so stupid I just called a rep from Apple and it is true at 6pm(don't know if it is easter or pacific time) on the 29th so I have to camp from 8pm on the 28th untile 6pm of the 29th 22hs. ()&%^%#^^(*&%^*& well I guess I have to call in sick for saturday
hey art was that dedham or randolph? The point is - some sort of organized announcement should be given to the poor unwashed masses who actually want to buy one of these things. I really don't plan on losing any sleep over this. I just hope to avoid an all out mess when I go to pick mine up. It would be nice to think you might actually be able to ask some questions etc.. without the feeling that an angry mob is standing outside
I just called MY local ATTingular store and the dude there told me they will get them most likely the 28th in the afternoon. He told me (insert slight amount of doubt here) that he'd be happy to call me when he found out when they would be in-store, and we can go from there.
I think that Apple stores will end up in an extremely "carnival like" atmosphere which will of course make those passing by wonder what's up with the Apple people (again) but might make it tough to purchase and activate your new iPhone.
I'm looking forward to coming back from vacation, getting a couple of iPhones, and having some fun!
Plus the lines are going piss off all the businessses next door to Apple and At&t stores all afternoon long. I don't understand that.
The iPhone is available at both Apple and AT&T stores. Is the phone going to be available at Apple stores too? I thought it was only being offered by AT&T. Does anyone know? I heard that there might not be enough equipment to even have more than 1 or 2 available at the AT&T stores. I am curious as to whether or not more can be found at the Apple stores.
Don't get so worked up. He said SHIPPED at 6PM on the 29th. That means all the iPHones that are purchased through Apple.com that day will be shipped that afternoon. He wouldn't have said "shipped" if he meant "go on sale."ummm, wow...i'm pretty pissed off about this time.
i GUESS it makes sense, but this definitely makes the whole get in line situation a lot more interesting.
