I almost sprung for it last night for $28 shipped but overthunk it. Decided to do it this morning and they were sold out (they had like 30-some late last night). Lots of other places have sold out or have dwindling supply, so it must be a pretty popular case.

So I found another shop selling it for $32 with free shipping. Sold.

Just a heads-up.... apparently the magnets don't line up with the new one, so the automatic sleep/wake feature doesn't work. Looks like Marware is going to have to do some swap-outs as this is definitely a touted feature.

I hope we get to keep our originals as backup. That would be pretty sweet.

I think I'm gonna return mine. It's very awkward to take pictures and video with this case. That and the strap to hold it open is cheap and flimsy and difficult to use. So close but just not quite for me.

First post on an iPad btw.

Mareware replied to me and said they are aware of the issue of the magnet misplacement causing he cover to not sleep/wake the iPad and that as soon as they rectify the situation, they will replace the case. As for the camera, I can't imagine a full case with a cover that folds back that wouldn't make taking a picture a little awkward.

They will replace it even if we got it from a third party vendor?

No wonder my Tuff Luv case isn't putting my new iPad to sleep. Thanks for the info.

So the iPad wakes/sleeps when you just open and shut the case without clipping it locked? Try shutting it and opening it without clipping the top. It won't sleep/wake it.
