just realized how horrible my old iPhone battery was

so i just got a new iPhone 3g last night. and on the v1 i had previously, the battery was bad, but i didn't think it was this bad. here was my routine: i would charge the phone overnight, go to work at 8, get off at 5. depending on how much i used the phone throughout the day, at 5:00 the battery would either be around 25% or dead. but with my 3g, come 5:00, my battery was BEARLY UNDER FULL. i was amazed when i saw this... i definitely don't regret upgrading now :cool:

just thought i would share that. anyone else had similar experiences?

That's definitely a big factor. For me, since I like to browse the web a lot, I leave 3G on most of the time and if I use my phone a lot, my 6ish it's dead.

I don't even remember what it's like with 3G off, however.
