When you say "100%", does that mean the music pauses for incoming calls?

A contact at Kenwood told me the iPhone only works in airplane mode with the KCA-iP500.

But an article I read said it works normally, as it presumably will when Kenwood modifies its firmware for use with the KCA-iP200.

Check the date. This post was made over a year before the iPhone 3G existed.

The KCA-iP500 will work with your iPhone 3G to send music to your Kenwood head unit but it will not power it.

It is 100% compatible with the original iPhone.

i recently bought the cable and connected my original iPhone and it began to charge but it only played the music through the phones speakers. and then i connected a normal iPod and it played through the speakers just fine? any suggestions?
