It seems that the impending release of this untethered jailbreak won't work on the 3GS and as that's what I have it appears I'll miss out. What about people who only have a 3GS and can't afford to buy 4's or 4s'? Sometimes I wish had £1.000000!

Yup, then there will be a new phone to try and crack. Look at iOS 5 jailbreaks... they've come few and far between.No need to worry to much.... come IOS 6.0 we will all be back in the same position....No Jailbreak....
Now If I had a 4 I wouldn't really care about jailbreaking it much anyway. Surely there's someone out there who has an iPhone 4 going for £100

I have the iPhone 4 so I'll have a nice jailbreak for that, however the iPad wifi and 4G hasn't been done yet ;(
Are you going to sell your 3GS? You'll have more than a hundred pound to spend (that's if you're adding hundred..?).
If I sold my 3gs matey, I would have to revert back to my K800i, I can't afford an iPhone 4 at the extortionate prices people sell them for, so until I can afford a 4, i'll be sticking with the 3gs, unless someone wants to do a px with my 3gs and their 4 + a few quid.
I meant sell your iPhone 3GS and with that money from the sale, plus a little extra you should be able to pick up an iPhone 4.
There is a page i frequent on fb and they often have 4's on there, but people want silly money for them.
