Well, I still think the absence of 3G support has yet to be conclusively proven.
The primary Infineon chip
does support 3G with an external coprocessor.
The uncertainty lies with the other Infineon chip, that
EETimes claims that it
appears to be a M1817A11. But the print on the chip doesn't jive with that.
I tried Googling for a datasheet on this M1817A11. I couldn't find one.
I did find
this German article raising the same questions as I have about the uncertainty surrounding this chip.
