Mac OS X Lion GM Version as Good as Final Version

I was just wondering if the GM version of Mac OSX Lion is as good as the final version?

They're generally the same thing...but the GM version might include an expiry, but don't quote me on that, it's only a guess.

I've known people who continued to use a GM version of iPhone software for quite a while, so perhaps the Lion GM is unlimited.

I don't it matters, as Apple pushes out software updates all the time it wont be a GM for much longer.
