mail help

ok so ive had my iPhone since launch and have not had any major problems. its been awesome. now that fall is coming and college is right around the corner again i want to set up my email account on my iPhone from my email address that is an .edu, instead of the normal addresses. i cant get my school email to work though. everytime i try the iPhone by going to other and typing all my info in, it doesn't verify it. it says invalid blah blah stuff. so can somebody help me out, im sure there are college students that have done this to get there college email hooked up in iPhone. thanks

I would forward your schools mail to a yahoo account so you will get the e-mail pushed. Thats just me though.

I have the same problem, how would i go about forwarding my school email to yahoo? And does it have to be yahoo?
