Check in Settings under both SOUNDS, and iPod -Volume Limit. No matter which ring is selected. Any fixes for this prob?
I can not find "volume limit" when I click on the Ipod icon on the phone? Also sounds volume is all the way up.Check in Settings under both SOUNDS, and iPod -Volume Limit.
Make sure that both are set to max and you should be good.
I right clicked a song in Itoons that is on my phone. I got NO options choice. You must have a different version of iToons. (I have the latest) ?Just right click a song, under options you'll find it.
Unfortunately, you're not alone with the volume issue during a call. The Apple iPhone forum is flooded with users who are experiencing the low volume problem (both from the earpiece and the speaker phone). As of now there is no fix for this. There is, however, a 3rd party fix being tested at this point.I right clicked a song in Itoons that is on my phone. I got NO options choice. You must have a different version of iToons. actually, the volume silder was always there...So has anyone discovered anything about making the ring and the alerts louder? I see all the posts about the volume of the call but no updates or threads on the ring volume. This one seemed to go the way of the call volume issue again.
Can anyone chime in on the ring and alert volume adjustment?
**UPDATE** Uh, never mind. I found the volume slider in Settings>Sounds. Man, that must have come with one of the updates! NICE.
Yup it was... And just about my only gripe still is the volume issueactually, the volume silder was always there...
I can't find it on my Macbook dammitFor those who want a really loud ring tone and has a Mac, you can find it at Library>Audio>Apple Loops>Apple>iLife Sound Effects>Work-Home>Cell Phone Ringing.
I imported this audio file to iTunes as mp3, dragged it to iFuntastic v.3 Ringtone page and voila! This ring is super loud (sounds almost like the ring tone used in the iPhone commercials). I heard it even while shopping at Abercrombie and Fitch! Hope it works for you![]()
