media player problems

I was playing a video and about half way threw it just stopped playing and does same thing sometimes playing music. Any ideas why this happens?

Maybe a corrupted video or song? That would be my guess. Try powering the phone off and on again. Try to play that video again. If it fails to play again, I would say it's corrupted.

thx will do, you maybe right because so far it's only doing it on that video and a couple of songs

Does it stop and take you back to the home screen or does it just stop?
