mic cutting out during call ipdone 4

Hi all

I have a iPhone 4 model MC603b firmwear 5.1 (9b176) carrier giffgaff (02)

when making a call or reciving one the mic cut out after a few seconds or doesn't work at all. been told in a private shop that its sno good replacing mic due to it working at times it must be a softwear problem.

If you call Apple, they will probably just tell you to reset the phone to stock settings and if that doesn't work then they may have you meet up with an Apple genius. I would try the reset on your computer and go from there.

Is the problem your carrier network? Have you tested with more calls to different numbers? Have you tried FaceTime calls?
