ModMyiPhone down. Other options?

Are there any sites I might be able to find these sorts of files. Themes, batteries, etc. If I should not be asking for this I'm sorry. I tried searching and can not find many modded files here. I can make my own ringtones and currently have that Simpson's theme installed I just wanted to switch around a little... thanks

ModMyiPhone is down because they are upgrading the server to be able to run a skinning app (I know a little more about what it is going to be exactly, but I was sworn to secrecy by poetic_folly - It will be awesome once they get the server up and running). It should be pretty sweet. I would post a link to what I'm talking about, but the site is down...IT IS KILLING ME - The site down that is!

well I guess I gotta wait. I spend most of my online time recently here at everythingiPhone but that site is a must for those of us that love to modify our iPhones. That site is is a five star site. Very safe and credible. Like this site.

Hopefully tonight sometime...I am going into withdrawls without it! I want to see this new skinning app. They might also be re-designing the site. That might be why it is taking so long.

Also, the problem with the site is one your side, with your ISP not registering the new DNS changes with the MMi DNS changes.

WoW! So what do I need to change to get on the website?

Very glitchy app...I think it was rushed, but it's progress!

I got to the site and logged in then got time out error. then after that all i am getting is the site is down moving to new server page again.

I don't believe you need to change anything, just wait until your isp registers the DNS change. So as of now some people can see the site, and some can't. As for me, sometimes I am able to get on, but other's times I get the "Under Construction" method.

Well that might be why you can't actually create a skin using this app...It gives some error when I click create...I bet the site is slowing coming back online. It should be all good tomorrow.

If you'd like, You can set your DNS servers to www.opendns.com and it will propogate the changes more quickly. I just set my dns address's to opendns and restarted and now I can access MMi.
