I have Best Skins Ever on it now...What Vaja case did you order again? I am thinking about ordering one just to see for myself because I don't know about waiting that long for a review, but I am looking forward to it. Let me know what case you got. Thanks.
If you order one you'll still be waiting 25 days. The Vaja cases are all made to order. Of course, if you wait for the review you'll be waiting 20 days until the review then the 25 days until your case arrives. ;)

I'm hating my incase along with protective screen film. I've just today ordered the black Vaja Classic. Thing looks nice and sleek.

I ordered a Classic yesterday, the monk robe color. I like that it's only a 10 day prep time. some of the more expensive and more complicated cases take 20+ days.

There's a new case on Vaja's site now. It's called the Classic and allows use of the dock with the case on. It's thin and uses a snap enclosure. I think I'm gonna order one.

Joe
Which one is the "classic?"

The "Classic" is the one (brown leather) shown sitting in the dock at the top of the iPhone cases page.

Top SP vs Top Holster

It looks like the only difference between these cases is the center stripe, or is there something else?

I've had a Vaja flip case for my PDA for years. The front screen cover flips down from the top, folds around the bottom, and snaps shut on the back. With the i-volution cases, the screen cover is attached at the bottom and flips up. It looks like it's held shut by pressure on the top of the iPhone, so that part has to be somewhat rigid. That makes me wonder about the potential for scratching the top of the iPhone, as well as the possibility of losing its grip over time.

I'd like to be able to see one of these in the flesh before spending this much, but that's not possible with Vaja. On the other hand, I've been very happy with my PDA case, which cost $71 (with shipping) in 2001. In fact, I've been using it with my iPhone, which fits pretty nicely in the clear plastic case that I bought with the phone. In fact, I'd keep using it if I didn't hate the plastic case and it had a belt clip.

So am I to assume that the classic case does not come with a belt clip? And does not come with a loop that you can put your belt through?

If not then what do you do just carry it?

Bummer.... I was hoping for a clip or a loop. Just sticking it in my pocket is what I do now. If I forget to take it out when I am in the car and it rings I have to struggle to get it out. Plus because (in my opinion) the ringer is not that loud it is hard to hear.

Maybe I'll look at another option.

Thanks....

you can get a clip added. you have to go into customization and opt for it.

I'll post pics of mine when it gets here, because that is what I ordered too!
And you'll love the rivet system. Best, most secure clip system I have ever seen or used.

Hawk,

Why did you choose the rivet clip over the ultra clip? Seems like the ultra would be easier to put on and take off.

TIA.

It might be, but I've been using the rivet on another phone for about 3-4 years now, and it's the most secure clip out there. I explained in another thread (or this one...cannot remember) that if someone tried to pull my phone off my clip, they'd get hurt and thrown to the ground before it would give.
I have a tendency to break the plastic clips or holders due to over-use.

The other thing is I don't want to have to turn the phone a perfect 90* in order to remove it.

Good news for you people who ordered the vaja case.
I ordered mine august 6 and just got the email confirmation with tracking # from fed ex today saying my Vaja case will be here on friday the 24th.
So that's 18 days including weekends.
Not a huge deal I guess, but 18 days instead of 20 to 25 sounds great to me.
