It might be, but I've been using the rivet on another phone for about 3-4 years now, and it's the most secure clip out there. I explained in another thread (or this one...cannot remember) that if someone tried to pull my phone off my clip, they'd get hurt and thrown to the ground before it would give.
I have a tendency to break the plastic clips or holders due to over-use.

http://web.vajacases.com/ultra/ultra.html
The other thing is I don't want to have to turn the phone a perfect 90* in order to remove it.
Thanks. It sure looks like the rivet will keep the iPhone where you want it. If I get the case, I'll probably get the ultra clip, since I usually carry the phone in my shirt pocket.

lol!

macgirl,I'm fully agree with your opinion.;)
I think we needs some cases to pretect our lovely iPhone if we really like it.
1.It can bring us different style and felling though different cases.
2.It can protect our iPhone from unexpected damage.
3.It makes our iPhone looks more wonderful!
.................
So much,at least ,I get 4 cases .

I can't wait for one of you guys to get their case and post a review. I am going to get one (maybe 2) shots at getting a case that I can live with and use everyday.

So you go guys and post that review.

Thanks to all....

actual delivery time

i ordered the vaja top holster case a few weeks ago, has anyone else actually ordered from them and received a case? i am just wondering if the 25 days they state on their website is pretty accurate or if you usually get the case sooner/later?

It depends on their volume. I've gotten cases in less than 25 days and I've also gotten them later. I ordered a classic case, with 10 day lead time, on the 15th and it still hasn't shipped yet. 10 days would be tomorrow though, so maybe it'll ship on Monday.

I ordered my Vaja case, (Black w/o rivet or clip), ivolution Top Holster on August 7th and if the package hadn't been dropped off at FedEx too late for pickup, I would've had it today. Instead I'll receive it on Monday (the 27th). Still a lot quicker than the 25 days advertised. I'm happy ! Cheers !

I also ordered mine on August 5. Yesterday it said expected delivery was the 27th then it said that it was given to the FedEx people too late so I won't get it until the 29th. Kind of a disappointment but oh well. I'll post comments when I get it and try to get some pics up as well.

Thanks for trying to post pics.

My question is: How does the front flip cover stay put when you close it? It looks like it wraps over the top of the iPhone a bit, but how well does it hold? Do you think there's any chance that this part of the Vaja case will scratch the top of the phone over time?

Thanks.

yes, it holds it very tight.. but I don't think it will scratch the top unless there is a metal inside of the end of cover

So using the case that Hamir posted pictures of you have to do this to answer the phone:

1.Take off belt
2.Open the cover
3. Press the home button
4. Swipe the slider
5. Say "hello."

Lots of steps just to answer the phone.

Beautiful case.... I will also purchase one. Maybe not the same color but that brand of case.

Shouldn't need to press home to answer a call.
But in any case, it's what you feel comfortable with. Personally, I think these cases are tits, but that's my opinion. I plan on having an iPhone for a long long time, and this is the case to protect it.

Hawk,

Your right. When the phone rings you just need to slide the slider to answer the phone. My mistake.

If you bought the case which one did you get?
