I'm a middle age guy who's been married for 23 years and I have a 19 year old son and a 17 year old daughter.
About 5 years ago, we were a PC family, with each of us having a PC. Just for the heck of it, I went to the Apple store and played with a PowerPC iMac and loved the experience. So much so, that I bought my first 19" iMac at that time. I once heard a saying "once you go Mac you'll never go back" and that sure applies to our family. Fast forward to today and we are an Apple family, with multiple Macbooks, iMacs, an AppleTV and a Mac Pro (mine
) I also, of course, have an iPhone 3Gs and we have multiple iPods.
I guess you could say that we are passionate about Apple products
I've been a member of eiC since the original iPhone was released. However, a majority of my posts have come in the last 3 months, since I upgraded from my 3G to my current 3Gs. The 3Gs brought back my passion for the iPhone, I think, because of the tremendous performance improvement over the 3G. My iPhone goes with my everywhere and I would feel lost without it.
I've visited most of the other iPhone forums on the internet and don't even bother posting on any of them. For me, the eiC is a wonderful forum with helpful members and moderators who help to keep us on the straight and narrow
