There I said it. I feel like my $600 baby has now been cheapened.
I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Damn you Jobs.

Also I feel like the ipod touch is the iPhone's bastard little brother that will take all the glory and just point and laugh at it's older brother the iPhone. I can already hear the taunting the ipod touch will make. 'haha you come with a contract and I do everything you can and I'm cheaper and thinner'.

Yeah I know I'm exaggerating but well i can't help it! After calling At&t and having them tell me only those who bought the iPhone 14 days prior to 9/5/07 will get $200 in credit and I'm screwed makes me feel bummed out!

Yup,

I definitely would have passed if I was told at the beginning that I would be paying a $100 a month premium for 2 months to get it in June. On top of that it looks like a 16 Gig will be out before xmas. If the 3g is out before then as well, and they make the needed improvements to the phone part, then I will really be pissed.

As far as the Touch, that device doesn't make a ton of sense with the new iPhone pricing. I thought the touchscreen setup would be a nice way to upgrade their hard drive based players. But with the smaller memory sizes its now its 349 or for another $50 you can get your phone in it too and be able to use safari and youtube everywhere, not just in a wifi hotspot?

Why would you do that? You can get everything the iPhone has (except Camera and the phone functionality), and double the size of the 8GB iPod (16GB) for the same price...wait no...you also have a Heavy loader monthly fee for AT&T. So yeah, not really the same.
