Naked iPhone is the way to go

Hey all. I keep reading posts from users who are being cautious and using iPhone cases, but I haven't been hearing form those who are allowing their iPhone to run naked. I for one am someone who prefers the iPhone in its natural state, sans an invisible shield or bulky case. I know, I know, I'm running a greater risk of having the device scratched and whatnot, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. Anyone else weigh the risks of naked vs protected and come to the same conclusion as me?

Mine is still in its natural state. I like the way it slides into my pocket without a case around it. AND let's not even talk about the belt holster option.

Well I'm NOW iPhone naked after the Belken clear (DORKY) belt clip broke on a run to my car during a thunder storm. CRACK I hear the case open and flop the iPhone pops out onto the cold wet hard parking lot  Now it fits nicely in my pocket and wont fall out. and is easy to get to and looks much better except for a little scratch that only I can notice. :p

I was barebacking it(lol) until yesterday, I bought the inCase black rubber molded case from the Apple store and it doesn't change the look of the phone at all. It just adds more grip to it, and I like the look of all black better than the silver back and chrome trim ring.

Mine's neked so far, but I just got my BestSkinsEver skin - just don't have it on yet. I'm going to use the BestSkinsEver for the back and also getting the Power Support Crystal Film for the front. I think once it's on I can quit being so paranoid about it getting scuffed up. I would prefer to leave it neked if it was made out of kryptonite ;)

Lot of reports of that case trapping dust and scratching the hell out of the phone. Be careful.

I was naked until last night when I put on the Best Skins Ever. I'm thinking I might go back to being naked.

I just can't bring myself to go naked - i feel well naked. I would hate to get some ding that I could of prevented. I had one of those skins - hated it - switched to a leather inCase slim - love it. I do not use the belt clip though (hate them)

Definitely watch out for that case, it scratched my iPhone in two places. Also, it stretched at the bottom and lost it's tight fit, so I returned it. Right now I'm using the DLO case and the screen protector from the Apple Store. I like this case a lot, it's soft leather so no scratch worries and it's also very slim. So it fits very nice and doesn't stick out at all like other belt cases.

I have the black leather molded slide in case from Case-Mate. I love it. Also came with a protective shield for my touch screen. I am wondering if some people are mistaking InCase for Case-Mate?

I actually haven't gotten my iPhone yet (I'm getting it tomorrow), and I'm deciding what to do. I really don't want anything to happen to it, but I hate to change the look and feel of the iPhone. I will probably stay naked until I order a BestSkinsEver, because I've heard a lot of good reviews about that. However, is it true that it would be a wise idea to use Apple's Crystal LCD Film, rather than the film that comes with the Best Skins Ever?

I'm always going to use a screen protector, I'm just too paranoid about it (using the crystal film which I like better than the others). I've been trying the clear films and I'm pretty disappointed so far. I really disliked the invisibleshield both because it was too grippy (couldn't use it in the dock despite their claims) and the quality just didn't seem too good. I put on bodyguardz last night. It's better than the invisibleshield but I'm not sure it's for me. It's still an incredibly tight fit for the dock. The corners seem better than the other products but they are still kind of rough, you can't really get a flat sheet to fit good on the corners of the iPhone.

I may go back to just having it bare.

Case-mate is the black leather case that is open at the top and along one side.

In-Case is a rubber cover that slips on like a skin can covers everything but the ringer switch, headphone jack, connector, and screen. It's available in black, grey, and red. I bought the black for my son's iPhone and a red for my wife's iPhone (if I can ever convince her to switch!).

I've gone through three different cases- incase black rubber, the belkin clear acrylic case, and the leather fitted case that AT&T sold, and returned all. The incase was my favorite, but it would not fit into the charging cradle. I decided to eventually go with naked because I think any case will take away from the looks of this product. I must admit that I not only got it for functionality but also because I think it looks sleek. Even though there are cases out there that will still look good, such as the black in case (IMO), at the end I feel that it will not look as good as without a case. I find that I don't get scratches on my phone from having things in my pocket such as keys and whatnot, since I give my phone it's own pocket, but that my problem come from the phone sliding out of the pocket while driving and such. So I just try to make sure my phone is deep in my pocket while in a car or not sitting on my lap when i get out of a car  (happened before). I do like the idea of the ultra slim pouch from Sena, but wondering how easy it would be to take out of the pouch when a call comes in.
