I just got my first AT&T bill in the mail today and I noticed that there is no activation fee on it. I have the 900min plan plus the data for a total of $79.99 a month plus tax and my bill came to $95. I was wondering of it had ne thing to do with how it took about 24 hours for my phone to become activated bc I switched my number from verizon, like waving it for the disconvince.

I didn't get charged an activation either. I was an existing customer, would that matter?

Sounds like you get ripped on local taxes. You knew about the $36 activation charge before you switched to AT&T.
