I know this is my first thread, don't remind me.

Anyway, I bought all the correct things to replace my 3gs screen, but cable 1 ( the LCD cable ) the sticky crap wore off so it will not stay in with the connector. Any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried tape, don't know if gluing it will mess it up or not. I'd Google more, but there's too much searching, and too many websites rather just ask someone who repairs them.

Thank you for that I never knew such things existed interesting, I'm replying from my iPhone I got the screen working with a crap load of tape and got lucky I guess in getting it on correctly and taped down. It costed me $40 total from Ebay to replace the LCD and Screen Assembly! Very happy I got this working for only $40. I broke the LCD while trying to fix the screen assembly. Thankfully it's only $20. These repair places charge a fortune for repairing this and it's not that hard just gotta be careful. Also learn how to use the Suction cup, and don't scratch the LCD. Also most of the YouTube videos are misleading and very confusing. I could never get the damn case opener tool to work, suction cup rocks!

Problem solved
