I use ContactsXL. There is also a lite version. I got the full version when it was free, but even for a dollar or two, it's a nice app.

Yes they do. I honestly just discovered that this app does indeed use the standard contacts app. Made a change on a contact in the app and it did change the standard contacts app as well. Hmmmm
