Need Recommendation - Contacts Search App

Lack of a native search function in the Contacts app is a significant oversight IMHO. What's the skinny on an aftermarket solution? Several promising options are available in the App Store but I'd like to hear any opinions based on what folks are actually using.

I'm still on 4.3.3 and I have a search window at the very top in my contacts app. Also, a Spotlight search should include contacts.

Spotlight is way better, I can't ever hit the damn search icon from my contact app. I always end up calling someone else.

On 5.0 I don't have a Search button anywhere on Contacts. How do I access Spotlight?

I don't have this search box. I have "Groups" on the upper left and the "+" to add a contact on the right. I'm running iOS 5.o still.

I haven't launched contacts since Spotlight was added. I don't bother digging into folders to launch apps anymore either.

Slide to the very top of the contacts list and you'll find the search field.

I agree the thing really should be perma-visible vs scrollable off screen. Never actually noticed that before.

Yeah, I was looking at the top of the page but had not scrolled up to the top of the A's. I was looking at the top of the windows where it says "All Contacts".
