Have never heard that. I rent almost every movie that comes out for redbox every week and visit several locations. Or never experienced where you can't return. I would suggest contacting redbox when that happens. I would be shocked if they did not credit your account when that happens. I jaw contacted then no less than ten times with various issues and they all have been resolved.Biggest problem with redbox is taking the dvd back and the damn box is full. Now you keep it and pay for another day.
I just tried it and can stream to my MBP and to Apple TV. Too lazy to get my phone and try.
