New iPhones already v1.02?

I was just using a new iPhone today from the Apple store that was version 1.02 out of the box....anyone seen this with other new iPhones?

1.02 is the latest version of the software on the iPhone and has been available for a little more than a week now.

I think this OP was saying that the phone had 1.02 software installed on it right out of the box. I guess I always figured that the software would just automatically update at activation.

My girlfriend bought one from the 5th Ave store last night, and it was the 1.0 software, had to update as soon as she plugged it in to iTunes... Most likely depends on stock.

Hmm odd because this one was from the same store....maybe I was just not paying attention
