No ring on calls, just voicemail

Hi group,

I have a new Samsung Fascinate. Sometimes, phone calls to my phone do not ring but go straight to voicemail. There is no record of the call in the call log, only the voicemail, and the phone is not turned off. Anybody else experiencing this?

When that happens to my iPhone it's usually because I have no signal.
can you reset your network settings and see if that fixes it?

Are you rooted? If so what ROM are you using?
If yes to any above, how is your signal strength? Try flashing a different modem.
