No Screen Movement

On my I5,when I turn the phone from
vertical to horizontal the image on the screen does not turn as it used to with my I4s. Is this a characteristic of the I5 or OS 6 or is something wrong with the phone?

You may have portrait lock on...you should have a circular arrow going clockwise around a lock near the battery symbol. Do you have this?

How do I turn off the lock?

Double tap the home button, swipe right and then next to the iPod controls there's the button.
