No spoken turn by turn through maps on iPhone 4? WTF

This really sucks, we get no flyover and no turn by turn. What a bummer.

I imagine no voice because no Siri since the software isn't installed on the phone. Definitely a big bummer though...

They did it on purpose to force us to buy at least a 4s. I'm pretty sure they can get Siri to work on the 4.

Not really. The A5 chip in this particular make has an ear smart chip which stores your voice info and it what makes it accurate.

They may not be able to get Siri to work on the 4, but they probably could have implemented turn-by-turn voice guidance some other way if they really wanted to...

I was looking and there is a "Siri" file in the iPhone 4, Apple is just Apple and doesn't activate it cause they want you to upgrade, i had Siri on a JB though, it was sweet

I've been looking in the settings since I upgraded but i don't see anything that would activate it. Apple just wants our money.
